No, as it doesn't appear to have much advantage for the UK.

Have you made any plans for the long weekend ?

*$parkling $andie* Report 22 May 2009 18:50

Yes, most certainly.

Do you think there is any point in having Euro MPs or the set up of such ?

Anne

Anne Report 22 May 2009 16:12

Most of them, that have been caught out in all these obvious fiddles, if found guilty.
I won't be voting for Andrew MacKay , our local MP, anymore

Do you think this would have carried on, if they hadn't been found out?

No, I have only done direct lines, but know there are a few illegitimate peeps in my branches. The nearest I know of is my paternal grandmother was pregnant with my aunt when she married my grandfather.

Do you think any of the MPs caught up in this expenses scandal should resign ?

Anne

Anne Report 21 May 2009 19:45

I have bought quite a few, mainly to find their father's names & occupation. I found out my 3 x great grandmother had commited bigamy. She must have been quite a scarlet lady for her time, had two children with the family lodger and then married someone else while 1st husband was still very much alive,

Have you ever traced the father of an illegitmate child ?

I have two in my direct line and found the bastardy orders on the A2A site, One was ordered to pay 2/6 a week, the other eventually married the mother.
