No, mine are 20 and 22 , no grandchildren.

Have you had the last 'tidy up' of your garden for 2008?

Anne Report 5 Dec 2008 14:51

Not usually because we are too full up. We do on Boxing Day because its a lighter meal.

Easter Bunny Report 4 Dec 2008 19:20

I opt now, for pressies, give daughter a family list and leave it to her. We don't have the same tastes as 20 and 22 yr sons and daughters. I hate waste of money and disappointed faces! She enjoys the shopping and usually comes up with the goods. She's done loads already.
I buy all food but will not be going near a store within 3 days of Xmas !

When there is snow forecast do your council grit regularly?

I Inherited original b,m,d certs of grand parents on both sides from my parents Have loads of paper work, disorganised but in my way ,lol
I took an interest in family history a few yrs ago before joining GR.
Dad died 4 yrs ago aged 90 and had been in contact with his cousins of similar age, so I have all his notes to refer to. My only surviving relative, maternal aunt is 88, very compus mentis: I try not to nag her too much, but she can broaden my tree, because her aunt married my fathers uncle - hence dad and surviving aunt have the same cousins ! and I can spread the twiglets so to speak !!
Sorry to be so long winded lol

Can you speak more than one language ?
