Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 5,136 Send Message	I HAVE JUST SPENT TWO NIGHTS IN HOSPITAL, NOT THE NORMAL I ATTEND I HASTEN TO ADD. ON THE WAY HOME, I WAS FEELING VERY WARM, THUMPING HEADACHE, AND BLURRED VISION. GUESS WHAT? I GET HOME AND LATER DISCOVER I HAVE BEEEN OVERDOSED ON A CONTROLLED DRUG. INSTEAD OF HAVING A TOTAL OF 40MG BETWEEN YESTERDAY MORNING AND THIS MORNING, I HAVE BEEN GIVEN 110MG. SPENT OVER HALF AN HOUR SPEAKING TO NHS24 AND HAVE TO WATCH WHAT I AM DOING AS I AIN'T OUT OF THE DANGER PERIOD AS YET. I'VE GOT MY 9YR GRANDSON STAYING, AND HAVE HAD TO TELL HIM WHAT TO DO IF I FALL ASLEEP AND HE CAN'T WAKEN ME, OR IF I AM SICK OR IF MY HEADACHE DON'T BUDGE AND I BEGIN TO FEEL UNWELL. RANG THE WARD I WAS IN, AND THE NURSE SAID SHE CAN'T CONFIRM WHO THE DOCTOR WAS WHO ADMITTED ME, OR THE DOCTOR WHO SIGNED MY DISCHARGE PAPERS. SMELLING A RAT, AS THEY HAVE MADE ANOTHER MISTAKE PERTAINING TO MEDICATION.A SENIOR MEMBER OF THE MEDICAL STAFF IS SUPPOSED TO BE GOING TO CALL ME BACK, BUT I AIN'T HOLDING MY BREATH. VIC XX
