Squirrels have been mugging my cats for a while now... some of you may remember my posts of last year, when my Hermie and Rosy couldn't poke their noses out the cat flap without being bombarded by conkers, lol I resolved that by putting a gazebo outside the back door... giving them safe passage for a while.

Well... Jethro destroyed the 2nd gazebo a couple of days ago.... he bounces around on it! So poor Hermie, Rosy, and also my husband became targets for the squirrels chucking conkers at them... soooooo funny!

However... my two year old granddaughter... the beautiful Princess Thugette, has been practicing her roaring (my fault, we've been playing lions and tigers)

She roared at them full blast yesterday.... they shouted back and did all that tail wagging stuff.... threw a conker.. she threw it back and roared.. same thing happened this morning... just took her back out... Squirrels started....... Princess roared back... and they have run for cover, chattering crossly as they went!! One came back for a quick chunter, but has also run off!! Granddaughter is now on her push along with grampy in the yard, throwing the occasional roar into the general area of the chestnut trees as a reminder.

Pmsl...... Shame is... she terrifies all the cats as well, lolololol

Lol... She arrived with her daddy Tuesday evening... they go back to Scarborough next Tuesday... she is like a little ray of sunshine, lol.... her temper tantrums last all of 3 seconds, and then they are over....

Hi Jean... she and her cousin are just soooo precious... we don't see them nearly often enough!! She is downstairs supervising lunch being prepared by grampy... I have just sneaked on here for 5 minutes!!

Joy... she's a little beauty, really! Christine, I have some lovely photos of her eyes and nose... she normally sees the camera and comes as close as she can to it..... but puts on the most beautiful smile...

She is outside now shouting for the squirrels.

We are off to see her Gt Grandad soon... it is his 76th birthday today... and then down to the seaside at Barry Island for a run in with the seagulls.......... I'll let you know how that goes ;¬))

~~~~~~waves~~~~~~ to Tania.... well, she set the seagulls by their ears as well, lol..... Do they have ears??
However...... the pigeons she was enchanted by!!
They weren't that keen on her.... tsk... how very dare they run away from my Princess!
Squirrels were out when we got back.... one growl and the area was cleared... but Jethro has decided that he loves her again, so we have the terrible duo back again..... they have spent the evening on patrol in the garden.... both now exhausted and fast asleep... granny is about to follow... nite nite all.
She's not so little now but when we saw her last her she was absolutely beautiful.
She stays a few times every year (in our village now). Doting Granddad enjoys the visits :-D
Oh and she still loves glitter...lololol
