Jade wasn't just given the money Gwen. She earned it. If you were a mother in her position, woudn' t you use that position to secure what you could for your kids?

Of course you would, so please, don't go condemning her for the publicity that she has USED to secure a future for her children, on that does not include her.

Jade, although many people didn't like her as a person, myself included, I admire her now, and the good she has done by keeping herself in the public eye througout her suffering, deserves nothing but praise. Her actions, although only with her boys in mind, have probably saved hundreds if not thousands of lives by raising awareness of this terrible disease, and making young girls realise that it is worth having regular smear tests.

She should not be condemned. I'm sorry about your friends. Cancer has touched every one of us in some way, and I am sure if your friends had had the opportunities that Jade had, they too would have grasped them with both hands.
