Surprised to see the news about Daff on the posts this morning as I had wanted to have a bit more information to hand before 'broadcasting', and wasn't really in the right frame of mind last night.
We attended an appointment at outpatient day centre yesterday for Daff to have blood tests and a review of medication. As the nurse was preparing to take blood, Daff had a seizure and crash team was called. She 'recovered' from this herself, but an hour later had a second, more serious attack, but again with nurses/cardiac specialists in attendance.
Re-admitted, obviously, for observation, tests etc etc, which will be carried out over the next couple/few days, but concentrating on the reason(s) for the attacks.
Good today, though naturally tired. Has had some food, but not much. Doesn't remember anything other than attending the appointment, but that's to be expected. No indication of further 'confusion', but that prob due to where the attacks happened and the very, very prompt actions of the medical staff, who were superb.
That's about it .... back to Day 1.
