So good to hear that Daff is improving. Thinking of her as always xxxx

Try to persuade Daff to give it time this time! Look what happened when she came home too soon last time. Great news that she is really on the mend. Brother must be on tenterhooks wondering when his services are going to be needed.

Had to smile about Daff trying to do a runner - bless her - there is no place like home. But at least the improvements are every day and we are all behind her with positive thoughts and prayers.

Thanks Mr. Daff for the updates . we do appreciate them.

there is always one that escapes lol ,good news though with his freeze she will need a thick blanket and we will need our great coats for parade again with handwarmers in to be ready for an escape my boots are ready too i was always good at bulling boots

Sounds like Daff wants to write "Escapeologist" to her list of skills!

Are we going to have to call her Houdini?

I hope that the Doc. is able to give you some positive news tomorrow.

Stay where you are for a little longer Daff. You don't want to get too active, too soon.

Mr Daff, that sounds really encouraging. It's great to hear that she's still on the road to improvement----keep it going Daff.

Thanks R. you need to explain to her that running down the road in her PJs with all wires attached is sooo uncool.

Of course she wants to go home and patience is not going to be her strong suit at the moment.

Please tell her we are pleased that she remembers us and give her our love.

Thank you , as always , for the up-date . It sounds to me as if Daff is coming back to herself more each day .
I expect the nurses will keep a closer eye on her if she is thinking of escape , she must still be quite confused .
I hope you get some answers to your questions tomorrow .

Personally I think that trying to escape is a positive sign ( I've been in a similar situation myself after a road accident many years ago ) .

That all sounds good! I said the ear-bashing would come soon. She will want to escape as soon as she can, but needs to finish with the things she is hooked up to first.

Onward - we will all have our uniforms pressed and polished boots for inspection.

Hello all - bit delayed tonight coz of incoming calls....

Continued improvement today but with some complications...Daff has been trying to do a runner most of the day, according to the nurses, which is a bit scary coz she's still hooked up to this and that!! (she just wants to come home, basically)
Also she still needs physio to get legs working properly, having not used them properly for a while !!!,
When I asked if she remembered her GR buddies I got a typical Daff look , and a "p.... off, of course I do"....so that's encouraging (but prob means I'm in for it again...Lol !!!).
Wasn't able to see a Doc today - but wil tmw to find out what they think is going to happen....and when and why etc.
