refusing chocolate is not unusual for Daff though R is it? have you tried offering her something savoury? I'm sure you have.

Good progress today though and I am sure those two sisters are helping tremendously as she is always there for them.


Not sure that Daff watches I'm a celebrity but she is missing her Simon who had a big smile on his face tonight when his group went through.

I am sure too that, modest as you are, you are not letting on how much you are giving your own tremendous support despite the fact that you must be so tired. You are a star and you are Daff's rock. I know you would expect nothing less of yourself but you have earnt our admiration. Please take time to rest though, We don't want you cracking up.

Lovely to see the progress however slow - Daff is such a fighter.

Slow progress is still progress, though we will worry about the refusal of chocolate - but I understand she doesn't have a sweet tooth normally.

It is good to hear that you have been getting good support from the family.

Slow progress continues, with conversation being more fluid compared to apparent random sentences. The mixture of past and present is still there, with currently more of the former being evident, but that's not a bad thing.
Reading confirmed again - slow but sure.
Throughout this, there has been tremendous support from two of Daff's sisters in particular, and as they are both nurses they don't mess around re hospital 'going's on' lol !! Know the questions to ask etc..!!
Not eating much again, but at least taking water and tea today - refused chocolate though !
(Smelling salts available for those ladies who find this somewhat.... unusual?!).

New week begins....we'll see what this brings.

Prayers and thoughts winging their way to Daff.

Good luck with the consultant. Hope he has better news for you. Tell him that alot of people will be very cross if he hasnt. Daff will need a long rest after all this, and so will you.
