Evening Mr Daff,

Thanks for the update. Things do sound better and we will all be so pleased when we hear you have had a good earbashing!

We are all still on guard duty, but have to spread ourselves out a little, as one or two people will be on leave. Perhaps we should all let our corsets out a hook or two, so we can spread.

I bet you will enjoy an ear bashing.(for once) lol.It is all sounding positive thank goodness.Thanks Mr Daff.I can now go and cook dinner .I couldn't do it until we had your latest news.xxx

After a not too promising start today, I can tell you that Daff woke up shortly before 5p.m. today.
Still under a low dosage of sedation; confused but aware. She was able to respond to questions requiring yes/no answers, but although she tried to speak, the tubes/straps etc made it impossible.
Dozed off after about 40 mins, but that's a good thing - don't want her to wake too suddenly with a tube still down her throat !!!
Still waiting on various test results, and ventilator being adjusted to meet requirements now. Bloods are low, but not extremely so.
Left her asleep, so we'll see what tomorrow brings.....prob an earbashing ! Lol !!
