Well my reason to be cheerful, because no matter what some may think I am (and I'm talking real world here, not these boards) I have family and I have friends. I've gained some and lost some on the way, but those that are there are simply the best.
(Except my half-sister who err....'forgot' to invite me to my BIL's 40th at the weekend. Grrr)

Reasons to be cheerful......I just am dont need a reason....I have a lovely OH and family and all is well just read my FB and have another birth to add to my tree my cousin is a grandad again......

I've enjoyed reading this thread and feel like adding my bit.

This coming Sunday is Mother's Day here in Oz, and yesterday, my son and his wife came and brought pots, plants and potting mix and spent hours potting and planting - then moving pots around, removing weeds from between the pavers and also did a general tidy-up of my garage.

I can do these things but they take me a long time as I can't stand for long or bend like I used to be able to do and now I can look out on my courtyard and instead of seeing all the work which needs to be done - I now see a sight that is fit for a picture-postcard! I'm thrilled with it!

Dear Jax in Wales

My family.

Seeing spring arrive. The flowers bursting into bloom and the leaves on the trees.

Hearing genuine laughter.

Turning on the radio and hearing a favourite song.

Watching a sunset.

Visting a museum or art gallery.

Watching a good football match. Or the World Cup or Euro Football championships.

Having a decent nights sleep and being lucky enough
to have clean water to use.

This is a good thread.
