Jax just finished that Harlan Coben and can def say that the 1st 1 I read wasn't a 1 off good book. He is good.
Another couple are Mark Billingham and Stephen Leather

back to fantasy try J V Jones and Mercedes Lackey for more on the light side.

Managed to find a couple of authors from here to add to my read list. Ta
