I do wish Julian had won but at least he was in the last three and I think the choice of the last three was just perfect

I love that little guy with the specs in Diversity - he is so cute

We havenlt heard the last of Julian or Susan I am sure

difficult choice, I don't think we will have seen the last of Holly though she has a wonderful voice. They were all good, amazing how much untapped talent there is around. yes, TW loved Julian Smith as well.

To be fair, a lot of them said the final wasn't as bad as the semi final, and the confidence they must all have had in just getting there would have made a big difference.

Yes she did sing beautifully, and proved everyone wrong.

My vote goes to Julian Smith though, he's the only act to have made me cry tonight. He played beautifully.

Well, she sang well, diddnt she ?

Not a nerve out of place, and no mum to hold her hand. Said she was so nervous last night because of the 1000s of people watching her...er....wasnt tonight even more stressful with at least the same amount of eyes on here if not more ? ...no... it seems not !....not a tear to be seen.

I really hope she doesnt win, and if that makes me 'orrible...so be it

Didn't little Hollie hit the headlines today though.......guaranteed to bring in the audience tonight to see how she gets on....

She does have a good voice, and with voice training could go far, but I agree with one poster's remarks about Lena Zavaroni.......I well remember the agonies she went through after she hit fame....

I was yelling at the telly at the elderly break-dancer and I am sooo glad he did not make it through........I hope - if the story is true about him claiming sickness/disability benefit, and a car for a bad back - that they get him from fraud........goes out every night clubbing indeed......yes......and on our money....

Don't feel so good about myself writing in this way, I wish I didn't feel so irritable about it.....

I suspect that Mildred it correct about the bullying.

This child attends a private day college with fees of £5,070 - £7,860 per year.

20 full time and 11 part time staff to cover 245 pupils age between 2 - 16

Yeh, I bet they really have a problem with bullying at this sort of school !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched and was cringing tbh. Maybe I am being a cynic but I do wonder if her "tears" (what I saw of them) were a stunt to gain the sympathy vote. She shouldn't have got a 2nd chance just cos she is 10. Would anyone else have got that privilege?? I doubt it.

Her Mum should have called it day there and then. And what's the bet if she doesn't win (God forbid she should..how will she cope with the Queen?) we'll see her on GMT and the likes reliving it all over again and again.

Sorry, I don't mean to sound harsh but I don't think she should have got through.

Jean

I suspect throwing in the "Ive been bullied" shot during the interview was a deliberate ploy for sympathy votes. as was yesterdays performance

{ Earlier in the week I immediatly disliked the large dance group who at the end of their slot & was glad when they diddnt get through when they dedicated their dance routine to a couple of stabbed kids who sadly died. I also found this voting tactic, along with 2 grand who used grandpas wifes death to put on the tears :o(( (which worked) }

This is a 10 year old, and should the same thing happen to my 10 year old at her school, it would have been nipped in the bud & dealt with and made sure it wouldnt happen again by the head teacher.

I would have thought out of all things a child could be bullied for at that age, at primary school , a good singing voice would have been way down the list as there are few school activities which require singing at their age.

What we dont inow is the other side of the story, if the girl was maybe a show off regarding her singing (my singing is better than your singing I'm going to be famous) but put on the tears and cried bully when the fed up kids told her it wasnt.

And the winner will be the one they have decided will make the most money no matter how anyone votes. That's me being cynical.

If the public have voted then surely the second one through should be the one with the most votes not one decided by the judges.

I think they shouldn't have let her perform again in the first place. I think the decision to let her came from the worry that she would throw more hissy fitting if they said no.

It also makes me wonder if the shows bosses had a word in the judges ears to let her go through, because her hissy fit alone has generated the most interest in the programme media wise since Susan Boyle filled our news items. Now they've flogged the susan thing to death, I suppose it was the perfect oppertunity to grab some more limelight or the show.

BTW

I found her voice quite thin and reedy, good notes or not.

Hi all,

waves to Jean ^^^^^^

I do agree, if she was performing on the Royal Variety show, would they let her start again if she crumbled? I don't think so.
She didn't really seem like a 10 year old of today, compared to some of the other young contestants on the show, perhaps that is down to her mother???
