I shall be there straight away Tec. These were 90 by 90, they were already lined, but I have added the thick plasticy thermal linings in order to make them very thick and wind proof. The poor projectionists are really cold in their little room in the winter.. |

Think how grateful the frozen projectionists will be, |

What strange ideas you have Tec. I will put it to them, but somehow I don't see them agreeing to it. |

Hello Danielle and welcome to the thread. You will meet everybody as they come on here - mostly in the morning (Oz time) but any time really. If no-one is here, just post what you like and someone will eventually answer it. |

Hello all - my apologies for not being on this morning. A little drama with 3 y.o. grandson. His other grandparents babysit last night while our daughter and her partner went to a Christmas do. While they were out the little fellow had an accident. They didn't ring his mum as they said they didn't think it warranted bringing our daughter home. They said he cried for awhile and then said he was tired so they put him to bed. Daughter went to check on him and his eye was very swollen, his eyelid had bled onto his pillow. He also had an "egg" on his forehead. Daughter woke him up and then spent the night with him waking him on occasion to make sure he was ok. So this morning she rang us to go down and sit with the children while she took him to the doctors for a check-up. The doctor was astounded that his other grandparents allowed him to go to sleep so soon after a head injury and was also concerned about the possible damage to his eye. Luckily there appears to be no damage although he has a beautiful black eye. My daughter now feels she can't allow his other grandparents to watch the children again - especially as they don't seem to know how it happened. I've asked her to calm down before she decides what to do. So all in all it's been a difficult morning. I'd welcome your comments. |

Hi Danielle. I'm in West Oz which is probably just as well as the others think I'm very strange.....just because I go for walks at 3.00 am and talk to wheelie bins! |

I know how your daughter must feel, Sue and it doesn't sound good, but it's also possible for the litle ones to have an accident without us seeing them. We feel we are watching them all the time and they still do things we don't see. If they didn't actually see what happened, they might not realise that he hit his head, but yes, it is necessary to watch them for four hours after a hit to the head. |

Good evening Allan. Hope you enjoyed the garden party - and the red wine. |
