We have a main computer in the lounge-room. We have room for it in the spare room but I didn't want us in seperate rooms in the evening. Last year OH bought a laptop. Our son wants a lap-top so he's saving for one and when this one goes I'll get a laptop too. Our virus protection allows us to protect 3 computers in the house so that's no problem. |

Perse, a good old Anglo-Saxon word and one used by Chaucer himself! |

When we first got Television over here Linda, my mum went out and got us all TV trays - so we could eat and watch the tele. They were a tray with fold up legs and I often thought at the correct height ergonomically they would be about right for a laptop. |

I don't use two hands to type Linda, just the one - I've become quite adept at flitting about the keyboard, mostly with my middle finger, left hand,. as I'm left handed.....the best people are you know......... |

The tray I am using did have legs on Perse, but OH has taken them off for me. They were digging into the leather sofa and making marks |

You must have big hands to span the keyboard Tec |

Hello, Diane and Persey:-)) |

Our TV trays had legs to the floor - so your laptop wouldn't be on top of your lap anymore. |
