We had two disabled cats Tec - he could not get on the couch without doing a mighty leap - and often pulling the cushions off and ending up on the floor. She would struggle to climb up - but she had one over on him - we have paddle steps going up to our bed and she used to do a lovely elegant climb and turn climb and turn. He couldn't go up there unless assisted. They gave us a lot of laughs - I told one of my shop customers that we had disabled cats and she said "are they in wheelchairs? " |

Diane..... I have a younger brother who is a big Elvis fan - all the records, albums etc. Two years ago, he and his wife went over to Gracelands on a sort of pilgramage - not the sort of thing I would choose to do, but they apparently enjoyed it. |

Tec, I would love to go to Graceland, one of the few places that interest me in America, another is Las Vegas ( The Golden Mile ) |

Elvis was still alive when I was in the states but I was never a big fan of his. I loved King Creole and Jail House Rock but once he started messing around in Hawaii etc I gave up on him. Even my elderly Aunt (my grandmother's sister) preferred him before as she said "he went namby pamby." |

Perse, Those cats sound like fun, so long as they managed to get about. |

Tec, I know I shouldn't but for a moment I had a mental image of the blind cat with a guide dog! |

Perse- I must admit I preffered him before his last tour's, he became so dependant on upper's and downer's and just seemed to let himself go, but if you watch Elvis by the Presley's you realise why, it was such a shame as with a lot of well known star's that they go on this self distruction mode, a lot of blame lie's with their manager's, most of them are not thinking about the star's, they are thinking how much money they can make out of them. |
