Hello Tec

We have the North West Passage trip of Billy's showing on TV here at the moment. I am really enjoying it. They way those women sort of sing from the bottom of their throat somewhere blowed if I know how they do it - the Tibetians do that as well. I can't even carry a tune I would be no good at a Welsh football match.
We finally got the Joannah Lumley one up in Lapland that was made in 2008 - I thought that was very good as well.

Diane, it is awful when the children go, empty nest syndrome, but you just have to accept the fact that you have done a good job in helping him to grow up

Sue, Diane, both my wife and daughter detest my GP and refuse to see her. Fortunately she is part of a large Practice so there are plenty of other Dr's. for them to see

It is every woman's privilege to be ugly but my GP abuses the privilege

Actually she is not that bad! She lives nearby and we often see her shopping in the Supermarkey, usually with trolley full of toilet paper. but then she does have about nine children!

I am sorry Sue, you are correct, I shouldn't be leaving you for all that time. I will cancel it in the morning......

I don't think so lol

Goodevening Tec and Linda
Hope you have been warm today, the temp here has been a lot better of late, in fact after all that cold temp it seemed very spring like today.

Perse I get more devious the more time I have to think thing's up, as long as I stay within the law then I'v nothing to worry about. I'm normally a nice person( honest ) but as you all know I have been putting up with this for 6mths now and I'm not prepared to put up with it any longer,

Linda - I agree with Berona - make hay while the sunshines.
We will want to know all about it when you get back.

Well must go and get ready to go out for lunch as it is nearly 11am and I have to do a 1/2 hour drive to the place.

Keep cool/warm and stay safe wherever you are and in whatever you do.

Persephone xx

It does seem really daft telling him Diane, but he is bound to start up again soon, so I hope you can hang on to the monitor

Our two eldest children left home within 6 months of each other. Our daughter to flat with friends and our son went into the army. Our youngest has flown the nest twice and come home again. Doesn't bother me but it sometimes annoys his dad. He's talking about moving out again so we'll see what happens. We don't see much of him anyway as he works long hours.

Our son who was in the army never came back here to live and is now in Hobart. He loves it there and is about to start a new career in real estate so I really don't see them moving up here. It saddens us but we accept that that's the way it is. They're only just over an hour away by plane and we've driven down to Tasmania and gone across on the ferry so it's broadened our horizons having family down there.

Perse - glad to see you're taking care of William Wales, he looked very smart in the Kiwi feather cloak.

Pat - I'm sure your bedroom will be a sanctury of peace and relaxation when it's finished...........

Diane, I shouldn't like to fall out with you lol. You should have put it on the internet that there was a party upstairs.

Allan - My OH has suffered from White Coat Hypertension for years. It is a real condition, but no one will believe it.

Sue, you and Berona seem to be having very strange weather, and it's not as if you're miles apart from each other.

Linda I do have high blood pressure and am on medication for it. Unfortunately I have most of the so called lifestyle illnesses: High blood pressure, high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes!

Both of mine live near Sue, it is such a shame they are not nearer, especially as the baby is due in July. I wouldn't want to live in London and the houses are so expensive down there compared to here

Linda - we'll let you go but you must come back with lots of stories. Sounds good - lots of sun and warmth. You won't want to come back.

Persey - have a lovely day with your friend.

PMSL Allan, your are awfull.

Berona, I know what you are getting at but unfortunately the monitor is a clever little device and can distinguish were the sound is coming from, ( upstair's or my property ) don't ask me how, I don't know, maybe there is some-one on here who can explain how it doe's.

Good evening Tec, Fortunately for me the Specialist does believe it! On my second visit he shook hands, took my pulse and without doing anything else he told me what he thought that my BP would be.

When he measured it he was not far out.

I think that the problem is my GP doesn't read his letters after my visits

Janet, I used to think about school terms from the other perspective. I liked being at home in the holidays with the children, but hated having to go back to school again to teach

Hello Janet. My 5 yo grandson starts school a week Friday. My daughter rang to tell me she had just taken him out to get his school shoes fitted. I bought him his school bag the other day - it's bigger than he is:-)) It's an expensive trip out for school stuff. HIs uniform cost a fortune.
