The summer holidays in the UK are also six weeks Janet, but from mid \julu until the first week in September. I used to love those six weeks

That would be and ideal time for our holidays Linda although it would be called winter holidays...the heat plays a big part in summer holidays, okay for awhile but we are over it now...:)

I talked to my sister tonight Pat, she was asking me what we were going to do while we where away and where we were intending to visit. She doesn't seem to understand the concept of taking lots of books and chilling out by the pool or on the beach.

What's wrong with Facebook Sue, I have both sites open and toggle between the two

Sue, I hope my son visit's but once he's gone his room become's my sewing room and dining room, flat is so small and after moving here from 3bed house it is over crowded in living with all the thing's I have in it. If he was really stuck though I wouldn't refuse him.

Diane - I too gained a sewing room when my daughter moved out so many years ago. Now it has a bed in case a grandchild decides they want to stay.

I don't blog twitter or tweet. My stomach grumbles occasionally!

This is the only site on which I post anything and I think that I will keep it that way.

I just think that the internet is too vunerable to hackers to post too much personal information and the social networks seem fair game!
