There seems to be quite a few missing this morning/evening. Hope all is well with all of them. I suppose Diane has been busy monitoring noise and I hope Alison will soon let us know how she is.

I must away. I'm expecting a delivery, so had better go a listen for it. Talk to you all later. Have a good night's sleep and a good day. Our forecast was changed from an expected 34 to 26. Hope that's right.

Well, I'll sign off as we need to get a few things for the big day tomorrow

Australia Day, 26th January.

No doubt there will be the usual problems with Alcohol fuelled violence, but I'll try not to drink too much LOL :0))

Regards to you all

I'm late I'm late for a very important date lol
yes me again at this ungodly hour

Happy Birthday Tec sorry it's a belated one hun, but as they say ( better late than never ) glad you had a nice visit from your daughter and that you enjoyed your day hun.

My son is back home, ( long story ) at least it gave me a chance to clean his room properly lol.

Yes I have now got the evidence I need against him upstair's, Yippee.
I started the monitor at 8-40pm and continued to monitor every hour until I went to bed and that was 1-30am, but I had to get up again at 1-50am to put monitor on again as the noise got loud again. Each time you press a button to do the monitoring it record's for 10min's at a time, I then put down on a record sheet the time it all started and when it ended. I was unable to say what time it stopped because I did eventually fall asleep at about 3am, when I got up for work at 6-30am him and partner were in the bedroom above mine doing the usual ( you know what ) so I put my cd player on loud enough so I couldn't hear. It was continual disco music laughter and after a couple of hrs my head was banging. You also have to say what the disturbance was and how t affected you and then give it a rateing from 1 to 10, my rateing's started at 8 but the last 3 were a 10.

Well now that I have brought you all up to date I am off to bed,

Goodnight/ morning all sleep well, enjoy your day

Alison if you pop on hi to you and hope your feeling a little ( hopefully a lot ) better hun and take care.

Hello again:-)) I'm back - yippee!!!!

I tried to get some Aussie flags for my car, its not my day today and they've sold out:-((

Sue...Thanks for my song:-))Daddy Cool - they were great. Ive put it on my iTunes, it made me want to dance too:-))
Ive got one for you - Evanescence, My Immortal. Its beautiful, a bit sad, though.

Tec..I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday, its a tradition in my house that anyone having a birthday must have a cake with candles and Happy Birthday is sung at the top of our voices - were mad!!! I hope you had a cake with candles:-))))

Janet...Have you got the School books yet? Ive got all mine, just have to name them all - its a pain!! I still have to take them to get some School uniforms, everything to do with School is so expensive:-((

Linda..I'm probably too late, but I hope you and OH have a fantastic time in Mexico:-))

Diane..I'm glad you've got some evidence for the monitor, I hope it puts an end to your problem with your noisy neighbors:-))))

I'm going off to have dinner. Ive made chicken schnitzels - I crumb them myself, I don't like the ones in the supermarket already made, they taste like rubber and are full of fat.

Hello to Janet and Carole

Carole, even as naturalised Aussies we don't make a big deal of Australia Day. It seems to bring out the worst in some people, particularly after drinking all day!

Bunbury does put on a firework show, but I feel that the money could be put to a better use.

Perhaps at heart I'm just a miserable old Pommie :0))

Janet, I'm enjoying the cooler change in the weather!

Hi Allan

We don't make a fuss on Aussie Day, either:-) Plus I'm still a Pommie, not naturalized!!!!!

I think OH and I will be out in the garden, he will be painting the new garden bed walls and I will be putting in some natives.

Carole :-))

Oooh, delete delete Allan - before WE get deleted:-)

Carole I love the song My Immortal. I mentioned it to my son and he brought up the live version on YouTube for me. It's beautiful - so much emotion put into it. I got into trouble for teaching my grandson how to sing the Pink song - So What. Isn't that what Grandmas are for?

Hi Sue

It IS what Grandma's are for:-) Two of my sisters went to see Pink in concert, one of them went to see her backstage - they both said she was brilliant.
Ive got another song for you, Jeff Buckley's - Hallelujah. Ive just been listening to it:-))

Allan
I'm planting native plants, its the only kind that will grow here:-))
