Me too Tec, don't fancy walking to work again in the snow, I might not be as lucky this time staying on my feet. Dread to think how employer's mum would cope if I fell and broke something.

Sue I remember you saying you were going to a Wedding earlier in the month just forgot when it was to be, hope you have a great time.

Ah bless, just been watching the new's and Prince Harry is just like his mum with children, he seem's so at ease with them.

Allan - you haven't got a touch of heat-stroke have you? Not joking - I know from experience it happens.

Berona - the other evening when I was babysitting I told my 3 yo grandson that it was bed time. He took me to the door and said "look grandma it's not night" - little smarty pants. It was 7.30 and I can assure you he went to bed - night or not:-))

Diane, I haven't even started yet - I have to refurbish the kitchen, that's a big job, and will take some time. Then the dining room wants re-decorating - so I will be at it for weeks onceI start. Trouble is getting motivated to start. We also have a wedding to attend in two weeks, and I won't start before that.
I think I don't feel like tackling anything big when it's so cold, and ideally I like to have doors and windows open when I'm painting.

Sue! It's actually wet outside! I could say it's raining, but it's more like a heavy sprinkle but the sun is trying to break through. Who knows? if it continues, I might even get enough to water my pots! Then, I suppose it will be hot and they will dry out again! Fingers crossed!
Must go and study how to play back on my DVD. Talk to you all later.
Pleasant dreams and keep warm, Brits - have a good day, Aussies.

I was reading the aftermath of some of the threads, but also do not post on them.

Berona, when you have sorted out your DVD recorder, could you please pop over here and sort ours out!

We have afew DVD's which we want to watch but in our machine they either jam or a message comes up saying "No DVD Disc" just after we have put one in! Frustrating

Good Morning/Evening Everyone,

Just wrote a long post, only to lose it, as I had no submit button until I signed on again - grrrrrrrrr

Diane, Don't be bringing any measles bugs over from Larkrise.

Pat, Hope the fund raising evening was a great success, and your brain sparkled at the quiz.

Allan, Hope you are feeling better today, and that your OH didn't suffer too much in the heat at the rehearsal.

Allan Report 31 Jan 2010 21:55

Good evening Diane,

The discs are all genuine ones, many of BBC programmes purchased for the ABC (Australian Broadcastin Company) shop.

The rcorder can record to hard drive wich is what we use for recording normal TV programmes or to disc, but we have never recorded to disc

Allan what a good thing your weather was more bearable.

I never post on contentious threads - can't be bothered, but I do sometimes have to sit on my hands. I can't understand why people want to be so spiteful and insulting on a chat board.

Diane - Our snow has all gone, but it is bitterly cold, and a heavy frost tonight. We have a fire as well as the heating going all day.

Allan hun what I ment was they recorded by you ( copy's ) or shop bought.
My son is haveing his tea at the moment but when he has finished he may be able to suggest a cause and a remedy. Will let you know when he has finished.

Tec are snow has gone as well and like yourself it is very cold here. I have been reading the other thread's too, and I don't post as I can't abide the ruck's that go on.

Good evening Pat,

My apologies, I missed your most recent pst, and have only just caught up!

Tec, we are now in the wind-down to summer, but sometimes the hot weather lingers into March/April
