I had a very strange experience some years ago. We went to view a house that we were very interested in.
A man answered the door, he was Polish. He invited us in and OH walked halfway down the hallway. I got only two steps over the doorstep when I felt this dreadful feeling of something very nasty, almost evil.
I couldn't take another step inside the house, and called to OH to come out. We left in a hurry, and OH looked at me as if I was insane, as did the man selling the house, but nothing would induce me to enter that house.
Very odd experience.

Allan one of my premonitions or feeling's that I call them happened when I was married I was only 20yrs old, I was out with my hubby ( now my X ) and a couple of friend's, we had been out to the pub to see a group, ( Cy Tuck and the Fryer's ) you may have heard of them, when we left the pub I said quietly to my hubby to drive carefully as I have one of my feeling's ( he knew what I meant ) to cut a long story short we saw 3 incident's on the road that if we had been driving abit faster we may have been involved in them. at the time the road's were icy, after we had passed these he asked me if I felt the feeling was over and I replied no, as we approached a bend on the road by our estate I told him we needed to pull over, this he did safely. we then got out of the car and started to flag the car's down to tell them to drive slower as there was black ice on the road which until you hit it you were not aware it was there. One car was traveling to fast for us to slow him down and I said to my hubby we need to get out of the way, we then all ran to an area which meant we were behind a lamp post, the car hit the black ice and went out of control and ended up hitting the lamp post which we were behind , as my hubby ran forward to help the driver I shouted him to stop he did and as he did the glass from the bulb of the lamp post fell down and hit the side of the car which is were he would have been standing. He then turned to me and said is that it and I said yes I know longer felt we were in danger. You can imagine when we explained to are friend's about my feeling's that I have how they felt.
It was then I really understood why I had these feeling's.

Tec, i believe that in some way, what happens for good or bad leaves a s
strong "field" over an area or place.

I used to get tha feeling looking at the old churches and cathedrals in the UK

I remember visitng Coventry and had the chance to look round the remains of the Old Cathedral and then went to the new one. The old one had this feeling almost of power, its very diffficult to describe. But the new one just felt Dead: no atmosphere, nothing

Hello back for just a minute. I wanted to add that I felt that way in the Tower of London. Very spooky - lots of "ghosts". Port Arthur in Tasmania is like that - a very interesting place but there is a feeling of deep sadness over the whole area.

Hi Sue I have never been there so don't know how I would feel. it is strange we pick up on good or bad vibe's about building's and places, maybe it is because of thing's that have happened there, like in the Tower of London we are well aware there has been a lot of death and misery in that place and we can pick up on that when we are people who are open to these vibe's.

Well all, I'm having a premonition tht OH will shortly be requesting (ie you will) my services to lay some pavers at the back si I had better go.

Fortunately the weather is forecast cooler for today 25c so we may be able to get two paths down

Regards to All

Tecwyn Report 1 Feb 2010 23:36

Diane I don't think I have the gift of premonition - except that occassionally I may think of someone I haven't heard of for some time, and so often that person has phoned or e-mailed me later the same day.

Allan - I too have visited both the old and new Cathedrals at Coventry, and I agree the ruins of the old Cathedral certainly have a "power", while the new one is sterile and lacks any atmosphere.
As for the Tower of London, well as a boy I spent a lot of time there, and knew the Beefeaters by name. I was aware of "time", but never in a spooky way. Perhaps because I was so young, and we are not so aware of our feelings and emotions at that age.

Hello everyone:-))

I'm not too happy with our night-shift. Twice I have logged in and found this thread on page 3. Maybe it's on Page 3 'cos there are so many lovely ladies on this thread but I do think you Brits could contribute through your day and keep it on page 1.

Good evening Diane

Good morning Sue

I did log on yesterday afternoon (08.00am UK time) but no one was on so I didn't leave ant messages.

To be honest I was a bit tired after laying the pavers and as the temperature was higher than forecast I had to call it a day with three left to lay.

I'll do those this morning but boy are my legs aching from the crouching and kneeling!

Sue, at least being on page 3 we are flying belowthe WUMs' radar :0))

Good evening Diane, good morning Sue.
When I have been first on in the morning, I have usually found it on page 3, but that's OK by me. I feel that the Brits are waiting for us to have our sleep, then once one of us moves it to page 1, they know we are stirring!

We had rain last night. RAIN!!!! 5mm overnight. I could actually hear it on my roof! It rained about an hour ago, but the sun is out now. Showers forecast - and actually happening!! No thunderstorms as forecast - but who cares? I'm happy that I don't have to water my pots!

Allan Report 2 Feb 2010 21:31

Good morning Berona.

Our rain is forecast for the weekend, if the forecasters have got it right this time!

How did the fitting of you insulation go the other day? I forgot to ask you .

This morning I was at the hospital 45 miles away for the Duchess to have her annual Diabetic Retinopathy Test,

This afternoon I took delivery of my new toy, so had to play with it.

Now here I am

Hello Diane, Allan and Berona.

Allan it sounds like your garden is really starting to take shape. Can't wait for our bbq. You did tell your OH about the bbq didn't you? We don't want your lovely lady to have a nasty shock when we all turn up.

Berona - we had quite heavy rain through the night and this morning. More to come by the looks of it. I hope it clears for our trip tomorrow but if it doesn't we won't let it spoil the trip.

Diane - have you heard anything from the council about your neighbours?

Hello Tec - you posted as I did:-)) I'm sorry to say that mother is in a right strop. However I've moaned enough this week so I'll not bend your ears with a tale of how my mother is driving me crazy:-)))

Berona Report 2 Feb 2010 21:40

Good morning/evening boys.
What did I miss Tec? What new toy?
Allan - the batts were done and they were away before the allocated time for them to be here! When asked for my signature, I ask "what am I signing for?" - but of course, he just gave me his sweet Vietnamese smile, and "no speak". They took all of three minutes to do the job. However, my son came in later and confirmed that the batts are there - so I kept my promise and followed up my earlier email to the Dept of Environment, telling them that the job was now completed.

Sue - I'm not worried about being on page 3. It's the only page 3 I'll ever be on!!
