	Hi all Whoever mentioned Leonard Cohen? Wordmeister extraordinaire. Latter day equivalent of which is - very different genre, same command of words - Eminem Most recent listens shared between Paulo Nutini (noted your words, Amanda!) and the wonderful Maximo Park. Geordie music at its best since Eric (House of the Rising Sun) Burden and, of course Lindisfarne . Lady Elenor still sends shivers down my spine. Sue x

I think my very favouritist was Subculture but then I love True Faith (obviously) and 1963 and Bizarre Love Triangle and pretty much all of it lol Hunting High and Low was soooooo good and reminds me of my lovely mate Julia:)

	Now I am in danger of being a DM bore here..........lol......I could listen to them exclusively forever because they speak my language......but that's just not healthy in the long term. 	Violator was a fantastic album.......only maybe one song I could live without on it........the name of which escapes me at the mo (blame the vino)........Halo kind of sums me up as a person though. Songs Of Faith and Devotion which is the follow on album had really bad reviews........but I loved it......condemnation was inspired ......live it is beyond amazing...with the gospel singers etc....... Oh gawd.......i'm off on a depeche mode fest again now lol xx
