Dear All

Hello

Hope you are well.

Wait a busy day!

Looking for birds with the youngsters for the RSPB weekend watch, shopping, Candlemas day and the African Nations Cup football!

And my cousin sqwaked down the telephone about new parsh records.

I have found some baptisms from the 1830's, so I know now where my great-grandfather x4 was living and working before the census.

Take care
Very best wishes
xx

Hi YG. Glad you approve. As I said I've hung onto this one for a very long time so I am a sort of expert on the subject.

I think we'd better pull the sticky tape off DETs mouth. Ziiiiiiiip!!

Morning EOS. What an interesting mixture of activities you have planned for your day. Hope you have lots of fun.

Me I'm just off to work. Today, particularly, should be a day off but that is not the case.

I must away. Catch you all later.

Evening all,

Elizabeth I too have been watching the birds today for RSPB. I will deliver my report directly to them as My daughter lives 1/2 mile away from their HQ in Sandy, Bedfordshire. and I live just 6 miles away also in Bedfordshire. Just being nosey ,which part of the country are you in ?

Oh dear football LOL. I just knew we would lose today but hey ho we put up a good fight LOL

AuntySherlock Report 31 Jan 2010 22:33

And I am about 12,562 miles away in Australia. That is give or take 500 miles or so because Google Maps refused to calculate the directions accurately.

You have bird watch. We have frog watch. Simmer down Maz not those frogs the "ribbitt" type of frogs. We probably have bird watch as well but I've never been involved in that pursuit.

Sorry to hear you lost LG. Tried to find out the score but our TV was so full of Federer and his win and the Pakistan cricket team losing the series 5 nil they just never had time for inconsequential foreign kicky, kissy games.

And with that I wil escape from here as fast as possible.................................................................................................................................

and get back to work.

Just looking.

Come back from a spider hunting expedition. The ankle biters were freaking out because there was a large spider in the toilet.

Brave aunty grabbed a glass and a sheet of paper. Put the glass over Mr spider's body and slipped the paper underneath. Then took him out to the garden to have a run around in the sun. No it wasn't Glenn this one had all his eight legs.

Back to work. And you are probably asleep by now.

By the way, you don't count the frogs. They won't sit still long enough. You record their croaking at a certain time of the day and send the tape into the frog watch people. They listen to the tape and sort out what species are croaking in your area.

Easy, peasey.

AuntySherlock Report 1 Feb 2010 12:14

Oh thank you. At least I have you lot to make me laugh.

It's a long story and good breeding dictates I place a cone of silence over the explanation.

Sufficient to say (1) Yesterday - Restaurant - no where (2) Exclamation from birthday person, then why the %%$#@@!! did you ask me what I wanted to do!! (3) Today. Outcome, a tablecloth, candle and rose in a vase on the table with a crayfish and salad for tea tonight. And a card with my as yet unpurchased outfit in it.

A bit heavy on the gelignite this morning LG. What did you conjure up for tea last night, curry??

Every thread I am working on has ground to a halt. I'm waiting to remove the last three tufts of hair from my head and - no progress.

Oh well good opportunity to concentrate on my tree.
