Hi again TeresaW,I just noticed that you are from Norfolk,My 14 yr old grandaughter lives there and has the same trouble. She has turned into Dolly Parton overnight and can only get old-lady bra's to fit.

Personally, now I am too old to care about glamour,I stick to Doreen bras,they are comfotable and bomb proof.

I agree Avon ones are quite comfy, Asda ones tend to shoot the wires out in the middle I find??

Sam, I checked all the shop sites to make sure they do that size, which apparently they do, just not in Norwich it seems, but to be honest I never thought about getting them in for me. If I have no luck on Monday I'll do that.

Bought some Asda bras a couple of years ago, very comfy to start with but the overall quality was poor, and if they didn't send the wire poking out the top of my top during a meeting *blush*, the elasticity went very quickly. I won't be getting asda bra's again lol

Bravissimo is THE place for bras - shop or on line!! superb - get mine from there as I am 32JJ and can.t get them most places - not bragging by the way - sympathy I'm needing!

Well, I consider myself to be the norm for alot of us British women, when it comes to the bra department, 42C. However, what I make up for at the front, I lack at the back, that being not very broad. I am at present wearing a newish bra from M & S, non of which are cheap, and the back is half way up my shoulder blades, and quite uncomfortable.
This must be a nationwide problem, because I have heared it announced this morning that, on Monday morning on our local radio, this very same subject is to be discussed. If I get back in time from doing my blood tests at the local hospital, I shall listen in, and pass on, anything that may be of interest to us. Incidently, the way Annina has told us to measure, is the same way I have used for years, and used to be quite well known many moons ago.

I agree with Ann, Bravissimo, all sizes and lovely designs. Take a look at them on line. According to the net there is one in London Road Norwich and one in Nottingham.

Julia, reading on various websites, if your bra is riding up at the back then it is too big, use a smaller size. Different manufacturers have different size templates, as they do with other clothes, so it's a good idea where possible to try one on in the shop first to make sure the size fits.

38 dd in M&S will probably not fit as well as a 38dd in say La Senza, or vice versa.

Teresa W. Me trouble started when I tried to 'pull-em-up' and adjusted the straps accordingly. Before, they made me look flat chested, but large flat chested if you know what I mean. I looked a sad saggy sap, and with no contour, now I have lost well over three stone. Me clothes just hung on me. Perhaps next time, when I am in Marks, I will try a 40C, and see how I go on with it, before I buy anymore.

Thanks Ann of GG. I notice Derbys is missing yet again from a list of shops. I am dying for a Hobbycraft to open there, for me knitting wools. We only have one wool shop between here and Derby, and it is not cheap. Awe well I'll just have to wait.

I love Hobbycraft shops, used to go to a lovely one in Basildon. There isnt' one in Norwich, so it's the market for my wools. It's a really good stall though, so now worry.
