PEOPLE CHANGE
MEETING SOMONE FOR THE FIRST TIME
I DONT THINK HARDLY ANYONE SHOWS THE
REAL THEM,,AND I HAVE BEEN TO A LOT OF MEETINGS

AND IF YOU DONT GIVE SOMEONE A CHANCE
YOU COULD LOOSE OUT ON A GOOD FUTURE FRIEND
OR MAYBE ENEMY

I always go on my early impressions and they are never wrong so I have no qualms about it.
We all have instincts that go far beyond the 5 senses we use every day.
I encourage my children to use theres too,my daughter especially has an amazing radar I only hope she keeps it on when it comes to chosing a boyfriend

I used to think I had good instints but I havent I am just a softy I think, In real life I have met people took an instant dislike to them, got to know them and they have turned out to be wonderful firends, but that has happened about twice, but I do seem to like people more at first get to them and see their real colours, same on here on both accounts so in answer to your question my instints are pooh...

You never get a second chance to create a first impression

I find - like most people - that I'm drawn to some and not to others and I don't always know why. I'm not often wrong but I tend to be a little wary when I meet someone new. I have to say I was spot on with the people I met who were GR friends.

I use my "traffic light" system, passed down from my from my dad., a good ole Deptford man, me a Brixton women, not that means much really, but my Dad would meet someone and the Red or Green lights would come up, and he was usually right, if he got the red light, off they went.. He had a "gut feel" for folks..,

I try to be abit more "flexy" with my traffic lights.........i give someone the benefit of the doubt...................they let me down once,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,all over..

i once met somebody and from the second we met
we felt like we had been friends forever
we joked about past lives

but it was very very strange

if we dont give them a fair chance when we meet them
are we not inclined to only look for the bad bits

theres people on here that i have been wrong about
and when i met them in the real world

ive liked them a lot

Oh dear Lynda... I can honestly say I have had disaster with many and varied star signs when it comes to romance lol, some where it 'should' have worked...me being a sagittarian lol.

i think it is nice when people do change their minds about people
it shows they have compassion

and are truly nice people

I'll have to revise my original impression of Uggers, he's even nicer than I thought lol

PS Uggers, for Lynda to admit this, she's obviously looking for more expensive cocktails this week & probably at the Ritz ;)

Got it monumentally wrong a few times tbh........even with someone who I met and really liked in real life ......which was more than a bit of a disappointment.

I just go with the flow now.......take people as I find them and am prepared to make a rejudgement either way if needs be later on along the line....

My opinions on all sorts of things have changed over time so I guess it's no different with people......xx

Lol Lynda, no I wouldn't ask someone their star sign before deciding whether I would get on with them or not...it just seems in retrospect that those who i have trouble with come from certain signs ...

I do hope no-one who might be a Virgo on here takes offence... I am sure they are mostly lovely :)

Not necessarily Uggers :) You come across as a lovely person on here even if people think you're grumpy sometimes. They're just jealous ;) lol

Also, people that irritate me don't always have to be horrible people, just people that I don't think gel with my personality and vice versa.

Also, I can end up liking some people more that may have more obvious "faults" and sometimes I don't even get irritated with them lol.

Or bizarrely there are some people that irritate me completely and they are the ones that I like the most. Odd I know lol

As far as impressions of people on the internet, they can be tataly different from what they are like in person.

On here I think that I come accross as quite neutural and a bit reserved (ie boring). In real life I'm totaly different. I'm very opinionated and gobby, the latter getting me into trouble on more than one occasion.

It doesnt really bother me if I dont take to someone, ie as in a circle of or part of a party,,,,,,,,,,,as then I know they wont become anything more,so wont enter in my life on a personal level...

some I come in contact with are just,-----------hell they are just,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well they are.:}}}}}
