Marion, it is the considered opinion of my OH that she doesn't know. She (the little girl!) never seems to talk to anyone else.

In the interests of research, I actually watched last night's episode.

Whilst I resisted the urge to put my foot through the screen I formed the opinion that Miles is a raving loony who should be seeing Pink Elephants, not little girls.

However I have no doubt that in one of those subtle changes the little girl will turn out to be human, an orphan and living of the land while still keeping remarkably clean and managing to do her laundry on a regular basis.!

Berona, Ive been watching it on and off for perhaps 20 years cos my wife watches it.

Been a few murders and nervous break downs during that time and in my opinion if the story line has become boring or whatever they get another script writer to freshen it up, which usually coincides with people leaving.

Pippa was a strong character as was Don Fisher.

Have you noticed that sometimes the decor under goes a complete change between episodes.

David - are you talking about Home and Away? I have watched it for a few years and I'm not with you there.

Marion, I'll ask OH for you.

Home and Away is not usually a topic of discussion between us :0))

You are forgetting Colleen, she has been there a long time.
We always notice new writers, they seem to think up the most stupid plots. If they were to at last get a happy marriage there would be something to shout about. I love that smile of Aidens.

Allan has you OH noticed anything 'dodgy'about the little girl?

Allan

Allan Report 19 Feb 2010 22:29

Marion, I think so but OH has a diametrically opposed view!

That's why I'm banished to a different room when it is on, which in West Oz is every week night 7.00pm - 7.30 pm

I think a popular prime time TV programme like H & A carefully monitors its audiences and when figures drop you get a new script writer and consequently we lose track of some characters who are phased out or killed off, then the epic reels off in an other direction.

You forget half the people who were in it.Well I do lol

David

David Report 19 Feb 2010 21:42

Don Fisher was plausible then unlike some of his successors

Do you think Flathead will have the answer? lol

Allan

Allan Report 19 Feb 2010 21:26

Ahh, David, the good old days when I did watch it and the programme had not turned into a series of unbelievable melodramas and disasters
