It was announced today at 09.00 am that there will be no further series of Home and Away made.

The spokesperson stated that as all possible scenarios have now been exhausted and all current and previous scriptwriters have had to be admitted to various local Mental Institutions for treatment for severe repetition syndrome it was impossible to carry on

The spokesperson said that their condition was as well as could be expected considering the severe traumas that the FICTITIOUS characters had undergone.

It is expected that a mass funeral for the series will be held shortly and it can only be hoped that the characters will stay well and truly dead and buried.

It has just been announced that a new series will produced for Channel Seven featuring a battle between the Undead and Zombies. The site for this epic supernatural series will be Summer Bay.

Viewers may not notice any difference from the previous series :-D

We had grandkids over nite so it was quiet for us.

Took the tree etc down today and got it in attic for next year.
I havent been shopping for bargain yet.I can never be bothered.
I always feel a bit 'flat' at this time of year.Dont think eating all the rubbish under the sun helps lol

Berona, love the Edinburgh Tattoo. Have taken part in a ceremonial parade and know how much hard work goes into making it work. They practice for months ahead. And spend hours cleaning their brasses and leathers. I still have my button stick, which kept the brass polish off the material.

We have our 'family' celebrations in Sydney Harbour at 9pm. That's for those who can't stay awake until midnight. It will include me. When you have seen as many New Years in as I have, they tend to lose their novelty.
It is a costly show that Sydney puts on, but the Council says it brings in more than it costs so it will continue. That must be true. I saw a roving reporter interviewing some of the million-plus people gathering around the foreshores - and not one of them spoke with an Australian accent!

At present, I am watching the Edinburgh Tattoo, so back to it. Hope you all have a great New Year. Take care. Talk to you again next year!

Hi all.

Looked in the other day but it was so slow I gave up.

H&A is on channel 5 with us in Wales. Pleased it looks as if Brax will be back Poor heath, thought he had a chance with Bianca, but it wasnt to be.

At least that. Programs don't seem to get right back to normal until school holidays are over, so don't expect anything until the beginning of February.

You'll only see Chanel 7 personalities on 7, although I don't blame you if you are looking for entertainment elsewhere. Haven't seen that commercial on any of the other '7' chanels, but I don't look at them much either. I still check on H&A on 7-2 to see if there are any more actors I can recognise - but I can't sit and watch it - it's pathetic. I record it and just flip through. At this stage, Marilyn and Lancie have broken off their engagement and he has gone - hopefully for ever; Dani Minogue is barely recognisable, but Julian McMahon is nice, although his role is insipid. No wonder he left.

Haven't seen any of those "flashes" yet, I must be on the wrong station, lol. Yes hanging out for H & A to return, but not for a while yet, probably 3-4 weeks. Would that be about right Berona??? :-( :-(

Well, it's all over for another year.
The chanel which produces H&A have been promoting their 'coming' shows for 2012 and in one clip, we see flashes of their popular actors and presenters, etc. - last one along the line is Brax, who doesn't say anything - just winks at the camera. It's a very quick flash, but he seems to wink right at me and my old heart flutters!!!
