I believe one of my ancestors Ezra Padgett was in the band and also one lived with Coniah Stringer for a while but sadly I know little more

I am researching the history of Old Silkstone Band from Silkstone, South Yorkshire. It was established in 1861 by Coniah Stringer or the Stringer family. If any one has any family history about players or general info. from any period, please get in touch.
