I just wanted to repeat something I said in PollyPoppet's original thread, that I was just reading over.

The thread was actually written by someone else, and then PollyPoppet started adding posts that I couldn't figure out -- I thought she was wearing her "helper" hat like the rest of us in the thread. Then I was getting excited PMs from somebody named Wendy thanking me for something but I knew not what. I was hopelessly confused.

Finally, I clicked on PollyPoppet's name ... and it all made sense: she was Wendy. It was *her* family we were looking for!

So what I said was: it's that genealogy karma.

Spend enough time hanging around helping other people here (as PollyPoppet certainly does), and the genealogy karma wheel will eventually send something your way. ;)

(If anybody wants to send that 5th Viscount Monck my way, feel free!)

I know they will spend a lot oif time on the phone and think they will try and plan a longer holiday together in the summer
Dad gave her the brooch on the first night and he said I have looked after these for 75 years for you time to give you them back and she burst into tears
The next day they went to york cathedral Margaret wanted to see it so everybody went
and when he was in the cathedral he gave her the locket he had it engraved for her
Yep more tears from everyone lol
It was so lovely there was lots of tears but lots of laughter too
We all got on so well it wasnt like we were strangers at all
It was a fantastic time xx:)

Thanks I took a bit of settiling down when I got home last night i was so high on all the love and happiness
But it was a fantastic time i had to keep pinching myself lol
We are all going to keep in touch
My Dad and Margaret were so thrilled they kept reffering to each other as my big brother and my little sister which was lovely
You could see it meant the world to them as it did to us all
we all got on like a house on fire
And if its possible things can only get better now xx:)))

This thread has certainly "spread a little happiness"

Now when up talk to any of them on the phone or via email, you will be able to picture them in your minds eye.

Must be difficult to sleep after such a natural high! And when you do come back to earth again, you have all still got each other in your lives.

My mum is visiting for the weekend and I have just given her a laptop and a Gmail account and taught her how to surf, so now she can come and read this thread, and won't she be pleased. ;)
