Hi Julia,

I have this book which has 30 glove and mitten patterns in it.
If you can describe what you have in mind, I'll see if there's something there.
There are 2 and 4 needle instructions.

Many thanks Rita. The gloves will be in double knit, as I know I am going to have a ball left from a gilet I am working on at the moment.
Lovely day here today so when I have made some Pate and some Cheese Muffins, it will be the green house for me.
Thanks again

Rita, I always used to take the Womans Weekly, as my womans magazine, many years ago. Always plenty in it, with short stories, recipes and patterns.
I do know that some charity shops do not take magazines, but I think they are invaluable.
I'm going to have a search around the charity shops as I would like a pattern for ladies gloves knitted on four needles. Also, knitting needles, which are so expensive getting these days, are always so much cheaper in the charity shops.
The magazine I was talking about, was a Spring edition, and not the weekly one, if anyone is interested. You will be suprised what is in it.

I picked up a copy of this mag. this morning whilst shopping, and reading through it, there is only one pattern I am really interested in. It is a lacey crochet cover-up.
However, which is why I bring this publication to attention, on here, there is a crochet rabbit called Mummy's Little Helper. The head and ears are of a rabbit, then it looks as if it has a dress on, which opens down the middle. It is to be used to put clean disposable nappies in. I thought it was a very good idea, though I have no use for it as this. Because I am so facinated by it, I think I will adapt the opening, and maybe get about 4/5 toilet rolls in it.
Lots of other lovely crochet and knitting patterns in it, including Paddington Bear.
Just thought it may have been of help to someone.
