Ah sweet.
My Ma-in-law used to knit up some wicked creations for the 18 year old.
By the time the 11 year old came along she had perfected the art of the arron jumper.
We all looked like extras on the Val Doonagan show!!!

My Nephew is a great West Ham fan. His room is full of all things West Ham.

My Son is an Ipswich fan. Well somebody has to be!

lmao
i love the val doonican joke,

im rubbish at , well ive never tried aran jump, i knit with aran wool but it has to be simple for my simple head, lol

my mam made my son a west ham colour v neck jumper by pure coincidence
she had knitted daughters school cardis which were marroon, so she used up some with blue and put the blue stripe thru middle of body,
when hubby saw it he said , god your clever rose, west ham colours
she was so chuffed,
and so was our little lad, he has said since , i loved that jumper,
so it had to be done again , just different pattern for grandson

Ooohh Julie...A West Ham Cardi....you don`t make extra large ones do you? I`m sure my OH would love one to wear over his all his West Ham replica Shirts....Youngest daughter is a fan as well, has all the bedding, pencil case, clock, backpack ,waste bin.....etc. etc..

I`m sure if OH had his way we``d have a Claret and Blue bedroom as well!!

I once kitted a jumper. it took 6 months at break times on night duty.

It wasnt too bad but sadly went into communial washing machine(one heat for everything) and it shrunk and was rock hard for some reason. I was traumatised it had taken forever and the first and last thing I ever knitted!!!!!

That was 25 years ago and I never tried again.

That was the extent of my knitting. I can cross stich though.

Off to watch Jamie Oliver now wandering round Marrakech and cooking stews.
Beats Knitting.
Im only jealous because I cant knit.

thats what son got

claret and blue bedroom

son in law to be has become a fan, little later in life at 30,
he said other day grandson even arrived in the world the same colour,
claret and blue,

poor compariison i thought but i suppose little light humour in worrying situation,

i put football butons on it

it size for 0-3 mths
u wouldnt believe the hassle i had making it,
i dont know if it were the colour or what,

the sleeves were ok, blue,
but the maroon body , i tried 3 different patterns, third time lucky found the pattern to use
i thought of hubby or son taking photo and sending it to west ham club,

Yes you should send it to the club.......they print children/baby photos in the Match Day Programmes .....

You may be able to commision a bulk order if the fans like it!!!

One of my first presents when I was expecting youngest daughter was a bib, it said.....

Best little Dribbler at Upton Park.........
