	chris has told me on facebook it may be monday before they can chopper him off the rig he isnt happy he should of been home today

	They have just repatriated the body of the last young soldier to die in Afghanistan.... brought his flight forward by 4 hours because of the threat from the volcanic debris. Better safe and delayed, than sorry, but ((((hugs))))) Joy...... it's a worry when they are held up... they are still our babies no matter how flimmin old they are!! Love Daff xxxx

	Now,now Stray. Lets hope he gets home soon, and safe. Just heard on our news that all airports in Britain will be closed from noon.LOLOL Julia in Derbyshire

	Hope it all clears up soon and your son can come home. My mom and sister are due to fly out to Spain tomorrow - they are flying from Exeter which is also closed today. Hope they manage to fly tomorrow - I have just cleaned the bedroom for her !!! Love Mary xx

	if we get a ash smog the air will have a yellow ting if this happens we have to close the windows and stay inside as we would be breathing in sand and glass like substances my son was a rep for thmas cook in Iceland a few years ago

	Awwww that's a shame Joy :0( My Mum and Dad are supposed to be travelling to N Ireland tomorrow for my cousin's wedding. I will feel so sorry for her if her wedding is in tatters because of it...as everyone is travelling from the UK . Let's hope it all gets sorted soon xx

	My daughter was in Iceland last week on a school geog trip ~the teachers were allowed to see the volcano ~but the kids weren`t. I am so pleased it wasn`t this week. Lxxx

	Joy, it is the same here, with the East Midlands airport closed. When I heard it on the 6.30 news this morning, I wondered if it was April 1st, as I couldn't believe it. LOLOL Julia in Derbyshire
