Stuart Pearce. The poor chap has been sitting next to Crapello getting red in the face and seething with frustration. He has the ability and the passion.

I'll go for Karen wots'ername who's just joined The Apprentice. She knows a thing or two about footballers!

To our shame, Hayley

But you can't get away from the fact that he was NUFC through and through - and England too

What we need is a bit of belief in our town and our country. Shearer would bring that - in spades

Kay???? Report 27 Jun 2010 23:35

It was clear to see what Rooney thought after the game he was clearly upping two fingers on the coach for which he needs a rap for,,,,,,,!!!hes been bulled up too much and now the winds been knocked out his sails ,a bad loser.....

Unfortunately, Capello signed a 4 year contract before the world cup started. It will cost millions to get rid of him!!!

I think Beckham would be an interesting manager!!

suzian

suzian Report 27 Jun 2010 23:02

Funnily enough, Kay, I almost mentioned Beckham

No-body could doubt he has England written through his veins, and nobody could doubt that players would respect him

I'd also put Lampard or Gerrard into the frame - given a bit of time

They were Kay...but I still felt we had enough on the bench to match them...if we'd have had the right manager making the right choices.......

Kay????

Kay???? Report 27 Jun 2010 22:55

I think for all I dont hold any affection for him Beckham would be a good manager ,hes got the soul for the game, players have respect for him,,,,,

Rooney isnt righ at all,,,,hes been spending more time on the deck in most matches, that Ive had misfortune to see in passing,

Germany were like bullits today and well deserved to win,,,excellent performance from them.....

I'll pretty much guarantee you this, Hayley

come Euro, there'll be at least six or seven of the same squad playing - and we'll get the same result

Until the FA takes control of the Premiership - which, let's be fair, it created- then money will always talk.

My dream is for a 100 per cent home grown NUFC team who play for the toon because it really matters to them.

and, before you say "no chance" Shearer is the living proof.
