Welcome to the boards Roger - look in your 'sent messages ' box. If the ones you sent Rachel have an envelope icon next to them, they haven't been accessed. That disappears when they've been read.

It could be that she's changed the linked email address since she posted and doesn't know that you are trying to contact her. Give her a bit of time. It could be she's tied up with Christmas preparations.

Rachel, did you consider replying to the people who gave you information on your earlier thread about the same thing?

Chat isn't the board dedicated to these questions. When you post on the Trying to Find board, a set of instructions for getting the most out of your post is displayed. You can also read them in the "how to use" post pinned at the top of the Trying to Find board.

One instruction is not to post more than one message about the same person/family.

I've just realised that you've said that you have their birth certificates. If so could you give me their parents names and I'll see if I can find something for you.

Rachel - I didn't realise they were fairly recent dates. Do you have Edward and Ruby's marriage certificate?

Hey sue,
My grandparents are Edward and Ruby Charlesworth married 1945 in West Riding, yorkshire. Rubys year of death was 1996 and Edwards was 2004.
They had 4 children, Michael and Roger (twins) 1953, Janet in 1948 and Keith in 1952.
Dont know if any have married or had any children..... hopefully ;-)
Thanks again.... im slow at typing

If you could post the names and birthdates of your grandparents I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to go back a further generation.
