That's great Welshbird...I love Jilly Cooper..she's so quirky with the way she writes and I've been in *love* with RCB since I read Riders as a teenager lol...so I'll always read her latest offering regardless just to get a fix of him !

It's mothers day soon and Jump is top of my list ...hope they take the hint ! x

I have finally got my hands on book 13 of Robert Jordans Wheel of Time
Not bad going the 1st book was in 1984 the auther died last year or so the final book will be out next year

Fantastic read

I'll bear rhat in mind about Riders.
I've just finished reading The Stone Carvers. Apparently there's a war memorial in Arras in France and this told the story of the construction.
I'm now reading The Echo Makers by Richard Powers. it won the 2006 prize for the National Book Award.

Muffy, I am now half was through Jump and it has improved. I loved Riders and Polo.
I hope you enjoy it.
Patricia, Riders is the best one to start with.

Have just finished Random Acts of Heroic Love by David Schieman, absolutely excellent two love stories told from the mans point of view, it had an ending I wasn't expecting at all, and now I don't know why !

I have just finished reading Other People's secrets by Louise Candlish. A very good book she is an excellent writer.

l have often done that especially for craft books:o)

Muffy I couldn't find Riders in the library. There was Jumps which I think must be part of the series. I got War and Peace out instead-lol!

I like Debbie Macombers.Just a nice easy read.At the moment I have Mark Billingham(2 books in one volume).Lazybones and The Burning Girl.
It was a bargain £1.50 in Sains****.I just love a good few murders lol

10 days ago I finished My Sister's Keeper' by Jodie Piccoult , which was very sad but a good read. Since then I have read Kate Furnivals book The Russian Concubine. A love story with history set in late 1920's in China. Was very sad to let it go, it was that good.

Start with *Riders* Patricia...it's where Rupert Campbell Black first appears and the story revolves around him and another show jumper.

I have to warn you...he's a VERY naughty boy !!! lol x
