I too have to object to the word slapper...horribly misogynistic.

I watched part of it because I wanted to see Kate's dress, which was beautiful, just like the bride herself. I thought the little bridesmaid and pageboys were lovely and Pippa looked gorgeous, loved her dress too.

I saw it from when the Queen and Prince Philip were on the way to the Abbey, waited until I saw Kate's dress and then half watched it while doing the weekly food shop.

I'd left the room by the time they arrived at the balcony.

From a website:

The bridesmaids are Lady Louise Windsor, 7, William's first cousin on his father's side; the Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones, 8, William's second cousin; Eliza Lopes, 3, granddaughter of Prince Charles' wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall; and Grace van Cutsem, 3, godchild of Prince William.

The page boys are William Lowther-Pinkerton, 10, the son of Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who has been William and Harry's private secretary since 2005; and Tom Pettifer, 8, another of William's godchildren and the son of his former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke

And
http://www.wedding-news.co.uk/royal-wedding-bridesmaids-pageboys-and-best-man-revealed-158800/
The bride-to-be chose her 27-year-old event planner sister Pippa to take on the role of maid of honour when she marries the prince at Westminster Abbey.
Another four bridesmaid have been chosen to accompany the brunette on her big day, those being Lady Louise Windsor, the queen’s youngest granddaughter, Eliza Lopes, the Duchess of Cornwall’s granddaughter, the hon Margarita Armstrong-Jones, the daughter of Viscount Linley, and Grace Van Cutsem, the daughter of Prince William’s close friend, Hugh Van Cutsem. All of the bridesmaids are aged between 3 – 8 years old.
Two pageboys will be included in the bridal party, these will be 10-year-old William Lowther-Pinkerton, whose father is William’s private secretary, and 8-year-old Tom Pettifer, whose mother, Tiggy Legge-Bourke, was William and Harry’s nanny.
According to a palace official, Kate and William decided on their wedding attendants together.

The first word that came into my head when I saw Kate was "stunning".....I even said it out loud!

The Service, the pageantry, the crowd.....didn't it just make you proud to be British!

We were on the route of the flypast and as Will & Kate walked out onto the balcony the Memorial Flight came over our house and a few minutes later over Buckingham Palace; what precision!

A super day for a super couple and it was just great that we could share it with them!

The little bridesmaids reminded me of Diana's small bridesmaids..with their flower head dresses.

Couldn't help thinking throughout how proud Diana would have been and how much she'd have enjoyed seeing her boys at that altar.

1 million people turned out to celebrate too...it was a day to remember x

I think she was .Was she the Nanny that went to Australia when William was a baby?
As for Beatrice and Eugenie .No I did not like their outfits ,but they have always had their own kind of fashion. Not my cup of tea .But then they wouldn't like my sense of dress lol

I watched much more of the ceremony than I thought I would.

Absolutely loved Kate's dress and imo everything was tasteful. Abbey looked wonderful with the greenery.

Agree about the two sisters from Cinderella......a couple of slappers came to mind....sorry if that offends, but think outfits were Westwood?

I wish the happy couple all the best!!

It was a lovely event, and they all looked lovely. No other country can put on such a show of splendid pageantry :-)

Catherine's dress was reminiscent of both Grace Kelly's and Princess Margaret's.

Grabagran Report 29 Apr 2011 15:42

Well, despite what I said, I DID watch it.
Kate's dress was not overdone, and suited her, although I wasn't keen on the veil. It lookes dirty compared to the dress. Her sister, as matron of honour was also lovely.
I thought it was a lovely gesture that she wore the Queen Mums' tiara.

Does Posh EVER SMILE lol

Does anyone know who the little blonde pageboy was? He was really enjoying himself.
