My deepest sympathy Brenda, you cared so well for Dan for such a long time, and now he is free from pain, suffering, frustrations and all that went with his illness. May he rest in peace.

I am glad you did not have to be summoned and had already arrived and had the support of your grandsons too.

Treat yourself gently, will be thinking about you.

I am so sorry to hear your sad news Brenda, even though it was not unexpected, it is still hard for you to lose him and still a shock to the family. Please accept my condolences.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts.Had a very busy day with all there is to do at a time like this.Daughter and s.i.l here till late tomorrow.
didn't realise how many people were fond of him.He was opinionated,always right,but lovable all the same...and not a complainer and bore his illness with humour.When anyone asked how he was he said "fine".In fact he said it to me on Saturday.
I do appreciate all the messages and p.m's.
