hello julia, not been on a lot recently as very busy at school with plays, concerts etcplus my college work! so really sorry to hear of your oh's hospitalisation. i hope they can sort him out in time to come home for xmas.
im sure some of your home cooking will ensure a speedy recovery.

hope all goes well and keep us posted. so glad you are better now.

I soo hope he gets sorted soon, because as you know Julia, we are all rooting for you to be spending this Christmas all cosy, rosy at home this year!!

Soooo, fingers crossed the pork pie reaches the place that a consultant can't reach!!

I have been to see the OH this afternoon, and though abit brighter than when he left home yesterday, he is still in alot of pain and on Morphine. They disconected the fluid line this morning to see if he can eat and drink properly on his own, or else it will go back in again.
Consulatant thinks it is stones in the Prostrate, which is swollen and pressing on the bladder exacerbating the amount of pain. He is undecided whether to operate or not.
It was a good job I took him in a Pork Pie, to get his appetite going.
I left myself a stew in the slow oven, which smelt marvellous when I opened the door, so I have a cooked meal ready for a couple of days.
Off to have that cuppa, and get ready for Strickly at 7.00.
