In reply to Kay and Ann - it doesn't bother me really and, yes, I am well aware I have many faults myself :-)

Joy must admit to seeing Bryan put Red Alert on.

:-S your posting - 23 Jan 2013 04:44 - I am sure it is afternoon :)

I remember Bryan from Cilfrew posted something like red alert, and I remember that, and I smile and just walk away; much easier to do that now than once upon a time :)

Vera your socks sound very fetching :-)

The phone conversations I've heard on the buses ! well all human life laid bare!

Ah Stephen , I should have known 'wuffty' :-)

Oi! you with the stick, stop poking! ;-)

Another pet hate that I bet a lot of you share:

People who talk loudly into their mobile phones in every possible public place so everyone has to hear their usually totally unnecessary conversation.

And people who won't ever turn them right off. We went to a matinee performance of Blood Brothers a while ago and a school group arrived. They were told to turn phones off but they put them on "silent" and then sat through the performance texting with their screens flickering.

I'm beginning to sound a right moaning Minnie - there's a lot of things I like as well, including my bobbly pink and yellow socks I'm wearing at the moment

Stephen , definitely "wuffty" riles me... erm what is it? lol :-)

Rambling Report 23 Jan 2013 16:28

Kay unless I am in a really foul mood the only person I 'pull up' for using "these ones" or "should of" is myself lol. I still can't spell occasion without getting it wrong, and I always have to write the name Sheila before being sure it's right to have the e before the i.

Oh! My emoticons have disappeared :-(

True Kay which is why, while it jars, I never remark on it and, i am sure neither does Rose. :-)

Rose, I just remember what Bryan from Cilfrew said ..... ;-)

It has never bothered me if someone uses,,,,,,,should of,would of,etc,as while fault finding thinking that oneself is a perfectionist they too have faults that would seem far more important to others.

Suffolk Vera, that is a really pet hate of mine, people who say less and fewer in the wrong places and even worse newspapers where they use the wrong word and on the TV too.

BC sooo agree, with both points.
