	Emmerdale actor Richard Thorp dies, aged 81 he played Alan Turner who started out as a bully to mellowing to be one of their best loved charactors. I liked Emmerdale but did stop watching it along with Corrie and Eastenders. For me the story lines got lost or too far fetched and I lost interest
