Well, it's thundering now but that wasn't what I heard. M

Shall I try Fairy Dust Carol ?

That would confuse himself, ha ha.

Went upstairs, could see nothing untoward except a tennis racquet on the spare room floor. Haven't been in there all week since No.1 son came home for the weekend so he could have left it there. Don't know where it came from though. M

Tonight at dusk, go out & sprinkle a dusting of flour on the table - you might see little footprints in the morning'

Don't think so Paula, although some of them are a bit of a pain, we have a high fence and big scratchy Hawthorn and Blackthorn trees between us and those at the very end.

They would also have to climb over the Summer House which fills the entire end corner.

I hope they are not inside now because there has just been an almighty thump from upstairs, had better go and investigate. M

You have neighbours at the bottom of your garden? Are they squatters? Are they trespassing?

Maryanna 'tis the latest fashion doncha know!

Could it be your neighbours? We have new neighbours at the bottom of our garden, I would not put anything past them.

My Nana always said there were Fairies living at the bottom of the garden and, as at the moment, I am reading a book about that very subject, that is the explanation I am going to go for.

I am with Sue on this one.

Better than Pesky Magpies.

Goolies !! ( Honestly, Mersey, mercy me. )

Sheep, sorry Errol, I can hear them, and cows, over the back but I know they can't get through or over the fence. And I put ant powder down the other day.

Mau, Gnomes !!! Not in my garden, no siree.

Don't feel like sitting down the end of the garden any more in the dark, just in case I come face to face with the Candle Mover.

Only one lonely one on the table this morning.

By the way the book I am reading is " The Unseen " by Katherine Webb. M

Ants.

They like carrying things.

I tried to train some to carry my luggage last time I went abroad.

They declined.

They didn't have current passports.

Magpies - they are a real pest

I leave the money for my window cleaner on a window ledge on the bedroom window.

Some years ago when I was an odd amount of money, he by that evening to say it was 20p short. We finally worked out the the local Magpies must have pinched it. They love shiny things.....
