We came home from Bali a few years ago - me in a thin strapless dress and sandals and hubby in shorts and thin shirt . Hubby had packed our winter woolies in case (this was Dec) to save us carrying in hand luggage and the intention was to change quickly in Heathrow before we caught the plane to Manchester.................... The airline called us over the tanoy to say they had sent our luggage straight on to Man. there we were like a pair of dafties standing in the airport where everyone was muffled up (it was snowing) and laughing at us - got to Man. and they had lost our luggage ..... I nearly murdered my OH we ended up buying jackets to get us home to Man then Leeds but we were frozen by the time we got home. Never again! woolies go in my hand luggage now :-D

We went to the hospital yesterday afternoon for hubbies 6 monthly check at the eye clinic .

We were sitting waiting to be called in when a guy possibly in his 60,s joined the check in queue. Couldn't believe what he was wearing !! khaki bermuda shorts and a short sleeve tee shirt ,no socks but open toed summer sandals ,his wife later joined him and she was no better ,a long summer skirt and cotton blouse, she did have a woolen stole though around her shoulders, everyone was looking at them and making comments to their companion but they seemed oblivious to everything.
