I have also put this on the genealogy chatt , hoping this is alright , and not offending any-one by doing so ,.

HELLO ALL

WILLIAM CHARLES HAGLAND , 1872 Northampton , 1952 , Islington , London

He was a Steam Engine Driver at Kings Cross , during his life-time , thousands of childrens birthday cards were printed with his photo on the foot-plate of the famouse express " SILVER LINK " , .

Do you have one , know some-one who has , or where one is stored , ( museum , etc ? ) .

He was my Gt Grandad , I would love to have one or at least a copy of one , please .

It is not deemed polite to post the same thread on 2 boards. What will happen is that you will get replies on both, sometimes from the same people and it can be very frustrating for those trying to help.

This is really just the chat/fun forum.
