.... to everyone on GR.

In 90 minutes at 3 PM the limo will arrive, brave the earlier snowfall and roads. and take me to the airport ....
... where I shall depart to the UK (near Cardiff and Reading) for three weeks.

My son is flying this sector of the aircraft (777) to LHR so I am indeed in good hands!
Sadly, it is a truly great shame his Mum is unable to be with us for this special journey at Christmastime!

Be good and try not to eat too many mince pies and turkey etc. (DId I mention alcohol, at all?)

A Very Merry Christmas - and A Happy New Year to you all for 2014.

Take Care of each other.

Hope you enjoyed your flight Barry, what a wonderful experience to have your own family pilot to take you to your destination. I hope your time in the UK is happy and you enjoy Christmas and New Year here.

Thank you for your kind messages.
Have just arrived near Reading and am about to have my first cuppa!
Rudy, I bought a litre of dark Mount Gay rum distilled in Barbados. (The oldest distillery apparently.)
I shall sample it tonight for certain!
No rain here and thankfully very mild.
Have a lovely day.

Thank you for your warm replies, everyone.

In an hour or so I shall leave Rainy Reading (area) and head for Western Wales. (It's bound to be rainy there, too, methinks. A fair comment, AnnCardiff?

I cannot get over the appalling prices for a train ticket! I managed to book onlinel last night just under £40 but buying today will be just under £100!
Talk about a rip-off.

The fun surely continues!
Have a lovely weekend, everyone.

Thank you, Sylvia. It's nice to hear from you.
I believe there was freezing drizzle around Toronto area earlier today, too, talking to folks there.
Thank goodness the wind here is relatively 'warm', and not 'cutting' through one when it blows as it does in Canada.

A Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to you and your family.
It's just gone 1am so oft to bed I jolly well go!
