I also hope that your blood test results are good so that you can begin your treatment tomorrow.

It's good that you will have an opportunity to go along to the new cancer centre, but not acceptable that the MacMillan nurses haven't been back as promised.

Positive thoughts and gentle hugs for you right now Michael, I hope you have a decent nights sleep tonight.

Glad the swelling has gone down a little. Rest when you can.

What a pity the Macmillan nurses haven't contacted you yet. I guess they must be very busy in your area, but the cancer centre that is soon to open sounds as though it will be very good. My cousin attended something similar at her local hospital and found it helped her, even if it was just having a cup of tea and chatting to someone other than her OH.

Stay strong and positive. Sending lots of good wishes.

Hi Michael,

Well, you had a busy time of it, glad you have more new gadgets to play with and help pass the time when you are stuck in bed or whatever. A shame that your legs swelled up but hope the surgical stockings help ease that. I often wonder why they don't make those in funky patterns or colours, they are so boring otherwise..

Have a restful day today if you can and fit that new rellie into place in your tree

Hi Michael, hope you get a good nights sleep tonight. You will enjoy your Kindle and t.v..Hope your feet are less swollen tomorrow.xx

You will have a good excuse to put your feet up Michael and watch your new TV set.

Swollen feet are very uncomfortable, so perhaps you could give your nice doctor a ring and see if he thinks you need diuretics to help with the fluid retention. I think he gave you his direct telephone number, so a little chat with him might be in order. xx

Good evening Michael,

Hope you have had a restful day, or have you spent it climbing your tree? :-D Still, much better during the day to spend time pondering about the new branch of your Irish connection than it keeping you awake at night. :-)

Hope you soon have contact from the MacMillan nurses, they will be of great help to you and your family.

Best wishes

Morning Michael,

Cold and frosty here in Norwich but hope today will brighten up later and stay dry. I am glad you have heard from the MacMillan people and hope they do call as promised so you can get help and support from them when/if you need it.

Have as good a day as possible, and hope the pain isn't so bad today

Hope you have had a bit better day today Michael and all blood results will be good so that you can begin the chemo treatment.
At long last, the McMillan nurses have you on their list. I hope they will help and support you and your wife and family too. Relax and rest before the treatment begins. xx
