I need to easy to understand instruction on how to get rid of a search site named Mysearchdial Search.

This site downloaded when I was downloading a PDF file that I needed.
Now I can't get rid of the damn thing.

I have got rid of the PDF file from my documents,
Gone into Control Panel and got rid of the Mysearchdial in there.
Gone into Internet Options and and Add-ons and got rid of it from there.

But the site comes up when I want to bring another tab up to go on another site I use regularly..

Please can anyone help me to get rid of it completely.

Thanks in Advance.

EDIT....I have also done a CCleaner scan and a scan from AVG.

Know I don't know what else to do.

It may be that this this site when it downloaded set itself as your homepage, if so, you will need to reset your homepage to what you had previously nominated as your homepage, don't know if this will help, have a scroll through it, info on resetting homepage is shown at

BR,OFITG,and Rollo.

I did all the add-on's last night and removed it from my search engines.
I have only Bing now.

On my desktop I noticed an icon for FREEGAMES which must have come from Mysearchdial search as it wasn't on before I downloaded a PDF File..

Did a search For Mysearchdial and got 3 up so deleted them and the damn thing is still on my pc somewhere as every time I want to put a new tab up that blasted site comes up.

Also have done a search on pc to find FREEGAMES but nothing is coming up in all the programmes/files/documents/desktop

So don't know what else to do now..

Thanks

Same as BeverleyW. It came highly recommended and so far seems to work OK. You can have a two week free trial and then pay if you want to keep it. It's a one-off payment - ours was £35.00 for two computers.

There is a free version of Malwarebyes - no need to pay for it. The free version is more than adequate for domestic purposes.
