It's still a bit draughty round here, as I expect it is around Wend's end, we always call Brighton Wends End now.

Power failure is the big one.

Profiling bed, air mattress, electric hoist.

It is hard enough in the day-time when Social Services are working but, if the power fails now, I have, somehow, to get him quickly into a nursing home.

This is why I have applied to SAFFA to help me buy a generator. I have had notification from one charity that they have allowed me some money but I can't go and buy it until I hear from SAFFA as they have to pay the supplier. It is not possible for me to buy it and claim the money later.

We are coming up to the turn of the year.

OH is working seventy miles away. I am on my own with Fred in bed and there is a thunder storm going on
