A YEAR AGO AFTER MY EXTENDED STAY IN ICU A FRIEND
REUNITED ME WITH AN OLD FRIEND,I HAVE SEEN A BIT OF
HER IN THE LAST YEAR WHEN OUR OTHER FRIEND BRINGS HER ROUND,SHES YOUNGER THAN ME BUT HAS HAD BREATHING PROBLEMS AND IS ON OXYGEN ALL THE TIME AN THOSE CANISITERS ARE NO LIGHTWEIGHT,
WELL LAST WEEK SHE WAS TAKEN INTO HOSPITAL HIGH DEPENDENCY WARD,I HAVE JUST HAD A CALL FROM FRIEND SHES JUST BEEN TO VISIT HER BUT SHE HAS BEEN MOVED TO ICU AND HER HUSBAND HAS BEEN TOLD WHAT TO EXPECT AND ITS NOT GOOD ,NOT GOOD AT ALL,THIS WAS ME A YEAR AGO I MADE IT ,OKAY NOT A1 FIT BUT ALIVE,MY FRIEND ITS NOT SO GOOD IN FACT ITS SO BAD I CANT BELIEVE IT I AM SO UPSET,SO MUCH FOR THE FIRST DAY OF THE NEW YEAR

Gwen, try not to get sad about this set back for your friend, even tho it reminds you of how things were for you last year. You were strong and fought back and still fight on. Your friend has had an extra year with her husband, family and friends which she might not have had without the hospital's help but sadly, if now is her time to stop suffering then be thankful you have known her, have seen something of her and let her go with love.

If this is her time, then I hope she has a peaceful passing surrounded by love and kindness.

Will be thinking about you Stay strong as you can.

Am very sorry to read this Gwen. It is always so sad when we have to part with a loved one or a friend. Don't forget to take good care of yourself though.
