Sausages for tea.

Because Fred has had to miss two sausage sandwiches in a row, I made a toad with vege sausages.

Once what was laughingly referred to as batter was prized off and put in the digester cone, it couldn't get away, we had sausages for tea.

I can't make batter. I have never made a decent batter and don't think I ever will.

Don't bather to advise me, many have tried, many have been failed.

I can live with it!

I can make batter but I can't make pastry. I've tried all the advice given to me over the years but it still comes out like concrete.

I make lovely pastry by chucking and dolloping into the food processor and it comes out lovely every time. Have never had a white sauce split on me and I don't do that very conventionally either.

Batter, well, it doesn't matter how I do it,roof tiles, bath sponges, boot soles, I can make them all. I just can't make a bloody pudding!

My commiserations, Sharron - I'm not very good at batter, either! :-D :-D :-D

I believe that "Aunt Bessie" makes boat shaped Yorkshire puddings especially for sausages - maybe they could solve your problem! :-D :-D :-D ;-)

Aunt Bessie looks after me very well but, just for today, I decided I could do it!

I just thought I would make you all feel better by pretending I wasn't perfect.
