Yes they defo lost the plot, how the heck are we supposed to build defenses without manpower !!!!

what made me laugh the other day was when they were saying the length of time it took to repair the electricity supplies was unacceptable.

would they want to go forty foot in the air in those gale force winds to reconnect the supply to the pylons ? don't think so.

With all the problems we are having (and have had over the last few years) with our weather and the terrbile flooding, it beggars belief that the eejits in Westminster want to cut jobs here where they are needed the most.

The Environment Agency has confirmed that jobs in flood protection in England will be cut as part of a major restructuring of the organisation.

About 1,500 jobs are to be lost at the agency although it is not clear how many flood-related posts will go.
