I have geraniums too and fushia. Daisies in the grass and
others I can't remember. Lots of daffs in bud ready to bloom also :-) ....very spring like weather today.

Apart from my usual winter hardy plants (fuschia, pansies, etc) I have a pelargonium (geranium) in flower, a gazania in a pot with 2 buds.

There are a few things in the garden that I can't remember the names of and they're still flowering and should normally be dormant. It's freaky.

There's a tree near by which has pink blossom...............and no leaves :-S

The next time I speak to the owner, I'll have to ask what it is

Well much to the dismay of my OH he's horrified to find the grass is growing lol! also got a Dandelion. Hope the cold's not going to do much damage to the early plants got loads of self-seeding plantlets in pots and they look so healthy (haven't a clue what they are they came from summer plants) so fingers crossed they survive may put them in garage.
Gwyn I love violets

I noticed violets in a nearby garden on Wednesday.
There are loads of roses in bloom around here as they have been continually since summer.
Next door's grass has a couple of dandelions in flower and we've got daisies.

In the week leading up to Christmas, I was delivering some local cards and noticed snowdrops in one garden on my route.
I think they must be an early flowering variety, as they're always the first ones to bloom near here.
Bulbs locally now have shoots about 4 or 5 inches tall in many gardens, so I hope they cope with any cold spells.

I think because of the weather the plants think it is spring. It is supposed to be getting colder so they are in for a shock.
